St Sorlin d�Arves, a picturesque French alpine village is part of Les Sybelles ski region in the French Alps.

The village has around 420 permanent inhabitants and is situated between 1550 and 1700 metres it is the highest village on the Col de la Croix de Fer.

It is a popular area for both locals and holidaymakers. The village has a Baroque church, fromagerie, deli's for local produce as well as ample local restaurants and bars. There is a well stocked supermarket for all catering needs.

The area is popular for both summer and winter pursuits.

The Col de la Croix de Fer is a good starting point for walks to the Trois Lacs and the Etendard Glacier (fishing, picnic sites and stunning viewpoints).

Resturant Fromagerie

Apres Ski is a gentler affair compared to some resorts but it does offer a warm welcome and good local fayre. There are several good restaurants in the village (with more opening in the near future) as well as other cafes and the ever present pizza van if you are looking a quick bite!
